Nebby (c) Nebby. Lookout! She's nekked! And she don't give a damn!
This pic of Nebby the Red Panda serves a dual purpose - it's for this month's artXchange, and it's also promoting Love Your Body Day, which is on October 20. So when that day comes around, I don't wanna hear a single girl moaning about her figure. None of us are physically perfect. It'd be kinda boring if we were. I hope Nebby doesn't mind being the inadvertent spokeswoman for the cause! Her character is so sweet and real that as soon as I started drawing her I realised she'd be perfect for this. Good use of negative space within and around the character, although a little hard to read in silhouette. Looks like there's no right leg...but overall, pretty nice. And since it's not for professional use, I guess it's ok
I like the pose, and the way the head is back looking out of view. Also, the tail has a nice flow and color.

I wouldn't call her perfect. I tend to draw women in general far rounder, shorter and heavier than, say... -any- of the anime artists. 9_9 But yeah. Always glad to spread the love.

I saw this on your LJ and I think it's absolutely gorgeous. What I wouldn't give to someday be animator and have the movement and positioning knowledge you have. I can't even express the little flutter my heart does when an animator captures a freeframe in a dynamic movement. Love the colors you used, also!
