2011 was such a tiring year, but I had my ups and downs, and I also want to keep those memories and keep them good forever. <3
First artwork of 2012!!!!!! I chose to paint Reyne, my OC to keep this productivity going. I also tried another way of painting. It's more tedious than the usual (and of course tedious comes with procrastination), but I guess I just gotta keep experimenting so improvement never stops.
I need new ideas. I gotta get a job. Dear Lord.
Ah well. Belated happy new year everyone!!!!

I'm blown away Jonna! The hair is so well done and the details are just <33333 The pose is well thought out and feels natural. I'm jealous of how well you drew the hand.
Only thing that bother's me is how her nosebridge is really defined so same comment as Amanda, try to soften some of your shadows. Lol... at first I thought that necklace was an earphone. I must be sleepy.
All in all, very rapid progress! The details in this is just

Ahahaha... 8D;;; I really am biased with hair details. It's what I enjoy to paint the most~
And yeah I do agree that I need to more aware with how harsh I tend to make shadows like the collar bone. Since the painting style is soft, I should've soften the shadows too. u3u
As for the nosebridge... I think my makeup techniques are rubbing of my painting style.

The hipstah feel is called "Lomography" style. Hahaha
And... *sigh* the ears is my style but... I really need to start studying ears anatomy. I also think it's one of my flaws in realistic painting.
Alam mo ba, I thought of adding freckles since it's normal for western people to have them, but I dunno. Hahaha
And maybe I'll write about that necklace. Maybe. *_*

Yeah, the next thing I study next to noses are ears. XD They're tricky to draw, but interesting regardless. o3o
FRECKLES. XD You know, my 3D Reizo had them. Just for lulz. But I think some freckles go away as you grow older.

Hmmmm. I see. I've always painted collar bones way too harshly, I forgot to adjust my style to fit this soft painting technique. Thanks for noticing. *____* I need to be more aware next time.
