Randall made cupcakes for ROR ;3ROR feels they've made the wrong choice in inviting him. LOL
those scales were so difficult. Not that it's hard drawing them...it's just so time consuming lol
and he's blushing AND turning invisible lol cuz he's so nervous and shy

I seriously loved that scene when he had the "Be My Pal" cupcakes for that party. I felt SOOOOOO terrible when they fell on his face spelling "lame"! Let's hope ROR doesn't splat these cupcakes on him!

Chromatophores FTW; you nailed it! A lot of people associate Randall's ability with chameleons, but he's nothing like them, really. His color-change ability is much more like that of an octopus or cuttlefish.
Seriously, though, Randall did NOT belong in ROR! He did not fit their image AT ALL, and they knew it. Johnny was just using Randall for two reasons: one, they were short of their necessary sixth team member for the Scare Games after having to boot out Sulley, and Johnny was getting desperate because he had to find someone who was a Scare major, had excellent grades AND could be easily pushed around and controlled(unlike Sulley, who'd probably have challenged Johnny's absolute authority at some point), and two, Johnny wanted to drive a wedge between Randall and Mike because he realized that Randall was the closest thing to a friend that Mike had and figured he'd be hurting Mike by taking away that friend and turning him against Mike, even though Mike really couldn't give two F***s one way or the other. I honestly think that Johnny was going to find some reason to kick Randall out after the Scare Games, anyway, and Randall losing because of what Sulley did just gave him that needed excuse. Reggie screwed up HIS Scare much worse than Randall did, and it was all Reggie's fault, too, but HE doesn't get kicked out!
Amazing job on this pic, though, especially the scales. Take it from me, those are NOT easy to draw and your hand will hate you for it later!

i totally agree lol although, i'd say he would fit in if his personality was like the first movie xD but randall was such a sweetheart at MU!
yeah i wish randall could have had a chance to prove how scary he was in the scare games. i'm sure he would have gotten an awesome score considering he and sully are big competitors in the first movie. it would have been nice to have him show johnny just what kind of monster he can be lol

and yeah, he changes color and goes invisible so his scales must be like Chromatophores, or something :3 so i wanted to pick up on each individual cell ;D even the ones that are going invisible lol
