Since you asked for a critique, I'm no expert and I haven't seen the original picture, but something is bothering me about the tone from the cheekbones to her forehead. Are you sure it's only one tone conecting those parts? Maybe you could shade a little more from the corner of her eyes. Other than that it's very convincing. Well done! You're in the right path.

Haha that is so true! XD But sometimes I get frustrated when I mess up a good drawing, simply because I want to continue drawing, but than I'm to tired or because I want to show my finished drawing so badly to that other person, that i mess up in the last parts.
Lucky, digital art has always 'Ctrl Z' XD

haha xD
but in thats times it because we dont know how to do the thing, not that we cant do it, if that made any sense xD
its like a computer, it can do anything, but without a set of instructions its useless right?
and to be honest ctrl z isnt that useful in painting, and we should use it as a habit, as in we shouldnt rely on it, even the eraser both in digital and real life, i really hate erasing lines, because first of all you get more confident and second the so called ''mistakes'' make up the art right, your deepest emotions show through your strokes so we should keep them honest ^^
like when im at school im the last person you should ask to borrow an eraser from xD i dont even have one xD
im curious tho, have u ever managed to completely finish an eraser? like from when u bought it to completely finishing it?

Haha so true! XD
I mostly rely on ctrl z when I work with Photoshop, but I do also regret it because like you said, you erase parta you don't want to or which one are too important to let disappear. But when I do the coloring part, I find it very handy to erase a part I didn't want there to be. I still don't know what I find more difficult to do, coloring drawings with PS or with watercolors..
I always draw my line-art on paper and then scan it or make a copy with my Lightbox. But when I start to color, I'm always afraid to finish it.
Because my sketches and lineart all go so well, but when i have to color it, I get afraid that i might mess up.
Hahah XD Than I won't ask you!
Now you say so, I can't remember i ever finished an eraser completely. XD
I might have thrown some away when they even weren't finished completely XDD
