Yep, the Princess Peach is a with thing is overdone... but you know what? I'm unoriginal and not afraid to admit it >O I also want to thank ~MidnightMoon for introducing me to the song "Ignorance is bliss" by The Jellyfish because its a song for Bowser, and it rocked so much that it inspired me to do this instead of a kingdom hearts one I originally planned XD [unfortunately I dont have the link to the flash that has that song.. D=][My scanner is evil.. MAIMED the colours... ewww..]
I wanted to add a "ringu" girl near the tree or on the swing... but I decided not to XD;

Oh, this is so adorable. I love that innocent look on Peachy's face. I also like all the bright colors and how it all comes together. The design of her witch outfit is also very cute, with all these stars and details. This is an instant fave!

It takes about the same amount of time, just more spread out time... normally my pictures go on from 2-10 hours depending on what it is.. I think this was in the 5 hours area. I leave it and come back later all the time though. D= I'm not terribly slow compared to many people.. but I'm not fast either XD; it's mainly the colouring or thinking of the idea that takes a while D= this was a small mixture of both XD; darn ideas need a kick in the butt before they actually take form of a drawing ;_;
what about you =0? [just wondering now we're on this topic XD;]

Hrm... Well, I've gotten into the habit of watching tv while I ink and color, so with that it takes around three to five hours for an average piece, depending on how interesting the show is I'm watching XD
I can do a pic start to finish in an hour or two if I just sit in my room with music though... Which is what I should start doing... I want to draw a new picture but I'm too busy with Nanowrimo... D: I have so many ideas ready to be inked and colored but I need to get 35k words by midnight this Wednesday, so bleh.

Awesome work, I like how you blend in the yellows in the highlights and blues in the shade, it suits the mood very well. The proportion, facial expression, and composition is also well done, the "happy halloween" going outside the frame is a nice touch and the leaf and pumpkin forms a nice border on the bottom.
Having said that, these are my suggestions for improvement:
1. The front leg looks rather awkward. The feet points too far to the side, and the thigh kind of "floats" above the pumpkin, giving the pose a rather strained look.
2. The arm pose is great, but the head looks rather stiff. Giving the head a slight tilt and having the eyes face the viewer would give a more "playful" feel which I think would suit the brightness of the picture. A wink would work well, too.
3. The tree in the left background is very nicely done, but the swing feels rather unneccessary. Extending the tree and making it taller may also work well as a framing device, or spread it out like a bush and have another tree frame the right hand side.

Just look at your favourite artists is what I would recommend. But in your picture I'm referring specifically to the neck and head position, which seems very straight relative to the spine. In a lot of anime drawings the head is often tilted to make it look more dynamic and cute. After all, puppies are cute partially because they have a natural tendency to tilt their head (the lassie dogs or collies in general are great at that). Also like people's head tilting as they melt when they see those puppies and go "aaaawwwww........." ^^

Ah, don't worry! Feet, like hands, are extremely hard to draw. The way you positioned the left foot is a really hard angle to draw
