Well here we have it, my first deviation of 2009 XD! After a whole month, I've finally finished my drawing of Kenta into a dragon. I hope you guys will like it.Honestly though, when I saw how much attention the rough draft of this pic got, I was pretty surprised. I wasn't expecting it to get so much notice at first. But 17 faves! Wow! Like I said, I hope you guys will like this one even more

He looks sad... Why would he be crying? He's just turned into a dragon; that's perhaps the single best thing that could ever happen to someone! I should know...
Anyway, great picture. I'm glad you decided to go ahead and colour it, even though you initially thought the sketch version stunk and no one liked it. Sometimes it's good to be wrong!

Well he is an eight year old little kid so to him, the pain's unbearable(although if you had wings, a tail etc growing out from yuor body, you'd probably have the same reaction).
Also, I never thought the sketch version stunk XD. I just thought people only liked it more than my "human" pics because it had a TF. But I'm glad this one and the sketch got so much notice. Seems like watchers of mine that never even commented on my old pictures are really starting to like them now.
BTW, you saw that I left a comment in your journal like, ten days ago, right XD?

i like how u didn't go straight to full blue when the scales first started coming up. most people just go straight to color X and skip everything between human color and scale/fur color

I noticed that a bit too. And considering how popular the rough draft was, I wanted to make this look as good as I could make it. And I gotta say, I'm really happy with how it turned out.
