Description Inspired by JeagerEX , who made the "Using Licensed chars as your OC is UNORIGINAL! " stamp.

Recolored OCs don't count as creative OCs because recolored OCs are unoriginal like licensed characters used as OCs.

And, thanks to my friend, Kimiboo11 for exposing blizzaria123/Chris Collier as a racist due to his recolor OCs such as Nori, Nuan, Nani, and Nuna, who are African-American recolors of Lori Loud, Luan Loud, Leni Loud, and Luna Loud, via her rant journal about him: fav.me/ddjxlrn

I credited Wingless-Butterfly55  because I used her stamp base .

Agreed, I absolutely can't stand race bending and white/black washing.

It's not only racist, but it's also colorist too.
I've heard of people recoloring Moana to be darker so that she will be black, not realizing that she's Polynesian and Polynesians are extremely underrepresented.

I agree, "whitewashing" and "blackwashing" is just as bad because it implies that the characters would be more likable if they were a different race or have a different skin tone when what's the point? Lots of Asian characters would get recolored so that they will look like black people instead and lots of black characters would get recolored so that they will look like white people instead.

Racebending is also just as bad.

Some people have recolored Elsa and Rapunzel to be black and said that they will look better. I get that dark skin is constantly denigrated but that doesn't mean you should denigrate pale skin. No skin tone is better than the other and pale skin is not inherently racist or colorist.

Recoloring a non-black character black often ends up looking like blackface. I know not all cartoons differentiate facial features between white and black characters, but still, it's racist to recolor a white character black due to the implications.

*incoming vent*

what grind my gears is: this was the only moment Human Genetic Engineering (when this was done for genderbending or making people purely Herbivore or Carnivore) are not called "Pseudoscience"(we can't talk about Eugenics here)

*vent end here*

and even when characters got Naturalistic skintones, skin color don't always need to do with races

... I read the journal and I absolutely don't want to acknowledge the person who's an art thief and a pedophile.

Plus, I rather have characters with their natural skin colours, not recolour them. Take my persona for example. She has pale skin. If I were to fix her skin colour, I wouldn't do it because she looks perfect just the way she is.
