Description
In my spin off OC cannon story-line . Ash, Serena and Molly while they travel in Kalos they meet a lone fairy named Venus who joins them after her home is destroyed. Molly gets friendly with her most.Molly (c) Nintendo Game Freak TV Tokyo

Venus: I'll sit tight in here while you look around.

Molly: (smiles) Good idea.
Once inside, they were greeted a gentleman who seemed very important.
Man: Ah, hello, young ones.
Ash/Serena/Molly: Hello.
Pikachu, Eevee, Cleffa, Teddiursa, and Chespin greeted the man in their own way.
Molly: Is it okay if we check out Notre-Dame, Mister...Er...
Man: (chuckles) Oh... I'm the Archdeacon.
Molly: Archdeacon?
Serena: "Archdeacon" is a person of authority in Christian churches.
Archdeacon: That's right. I am the head priest of Notre-Dame de Kalos. And yes, you have my permission to see as much of Notre-Dame as you'd like.
Molly: Oh, thank you, sir. (bows) Oh, I'm Molly Hale, by the way. These are my friends Teddiursa and Chespin.
Teddiursa and Chespin nodded.
Ash: And I'm Ash Ketchum. This is my partner, Pikachu.
Pikachu: (smiles) Pikachu.
Serena: I'm Serena Gabena. I'm a resident here in Kalos. This is my partner, Eevee...
Eevee: Eevee.
Serena: And this little one is Cleffa. (pets her)
Cleffa: (happily) Cleffa.
Archdeacon: (smiles) Ah, well, nice to meet you. If you have any questions, feel free to find me and I'll do my best to answer.
Ash/Serena/Molly: We will!

Molly couldn't believe how big Notre-Dame looked in the inside.

Molly exclaimed in awe

They saw many paintings on windows, many benches where people could sit during Church sessions, candles, and lots of statues.
Molly: I think I can see why Mama and Papa said Notre-Dame was so ic-- Ic-- What's that word?
Ash: Iconic?
Molly: Oh yeah, that's the word.

Molly also noticed her and everyone else's voice echoing while they were inside

Molly: Wow. I didn't know this place was so big you could hear your own voice.
Serena: (giggles) Well, a big place, like Notre-Dame, is certainly a place where you can hear your voice.

Serena: I also read that in the early 21st century Notre-Dome almost burned down in a fire.

Ash: Yeah. Back in 2019, according to Mom.
Molly: It did? Gosh... But at least they rebuilt it, right?
Venus: (from Molly's bag) Oh yes, Molly, that they did.

Venus: And of course it's had a few alterations over the centuries.

Molly: Yeah?
Venus: Yes. Our fairy ancestors told us that construction for Notre-Dame began back in 1160, and was completed in 1260.
Molly: Whoa... That's a really long time ago, huh, Ash?
Ash: Yep.
Pikachu, Eevee, Teddiursa and Chespin were amazed by that information.

Molly: You'd make a good history teacher Venus.

Venus blushed.
Molly: But I wonder... What does "Notre-Dame de Kalos" mean?
Archdeacon: (walks) I can answer that. In the English translation, it means "Our Lady of Kalos". Whereas millions of years ago, it was known as "Notre-Dame de Paris", or "Our Lady of Paris".
Molly: (understandingly) Oh, okay. (notices the cross on the stadium at the back of the cathedral) What's that over there?
Archdeacon: That's where a person in the church speaks to people of the Christian faith about many events from the Bible.
Molly: You mean talk about events during the time where Jesus was around?
Archdeacon: And before He was around.
Molly: Oh, gotcha. So Notre-Dame is like many other churches around the world.
Archdeacon: In a manner of speaking, yes. It can even help individuals feel close to the Trinity, which includes the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Molly: Father? Does that mean the one we call, God?
Archdeacon: Essentially, yes. And yes, the Son refers to Jesus himself.
Molly: Okay. (pause) Sir, does God love me?
Archdeacon: The Lord loves all his children, including you. Why do you ask?
Molly took a deep breath, and told the Archdeacon all about the trouble she had caused in her home in Greenfield, from the Unown, her imagining an Entei was her father, and everything. As she spoke, the Archdeacon could see tears coming from her eyes at this memory.

Ash knew how hard this must be for Molly as he remembered too well how she broke down in tears after it was over

The Archdeacon smiled at Molly.
Archdeacon: It's alright, child. The Lord still loves you, because He knows you didn't know any better.
This did make Molly feel a little bit better.

Ash put his hand on Molly's shoulder as Molly wiped the few tears from her eyes

Ash: And we still love ya, too, Molly.

Molly felt a lot better knowing this

and hugged her big brother figure.
Archdeacon: Seems you two have quite a connection, I see.
Serena: Well, yes. Molly sees Ash as her big brother, and Ash's mom's her godmother.

The Archdeacon thought this was sweet, and smiled for them. A moment later, they could be seen praying at the golden cross on the stadium. While they did so, Cleffa started wandering around.

She was really amused as shed never been inside a human place like this before

Eevee saw Cleffa had wandered off and decided to get Serena's attention.

She patted Serenas ankle

Serena: What is it, Eevee?
Eevee pointed that Cleffa was missing. Serena gasped in worry.

Serena: Cleffas wondered off.

Serena: Cleffa! Cleffa, where are you?!
Ash: Don't worry, Serena. We'll find her.

Molly: Yes Serena she cant have gone far

Ash: Maybe, but this place is huge.

Molly: Maybe we should split up to look for Cleffa?

Ash: Good idea. And we'll get our Pokémon to help out.
Pikachu: (nods) Pika.
Eevee: (nods) Eevee.
Serena: Oh, thank you, everyone.

Molly: Me Teddiursa and Chespin will go look up those stairs.

Ash: Alright, but take care, okay?

So they each split up into different directions.
Archdeacon: I'll remain here in case your Cleffa shows up.
Serena: Thank you!
Archdeacon: You're welcome.

Ash stayed on the ground level while Serena went down some stairs leading downwards

Making sure no one else was around, Molly allowed Venus out of her bag.
Molly: Maybe you can help search for Cleffa?
Venus: I'll certainly do my best.

Molly noticed the stairs had lead to the very top of the building

Molly: Whoa. That's a lotta stairs.

She looked out of a nearby window

Molly: Wow! I can see a lot from here.

It reminded her of the view from her home when it was in crystallized form during her time with the illusionary entei .

Suddenly, Molly remembered...
Molly: Oh right, searching for Cleffa.

Molly: Cleffa! Cleffa are you up here!?

Venus: Come out, come out, wherever you are!
Meanwhile, Ash and Pikachu were searching their section of Notre-Dame.
Ash: Cleffa!
Pikachu: Pika, Pika!

Ash: Serenas worried about you come on back now.

This whole thing was reminding Ash of the times Misty's Togepi would wander off, and he, Misty, and Brock would have to search for her.

Serena: Cleffa! You down here!?
