Here's a funny crossover of Arnold J Rimmer the hologram from Red Dwarf ( For those who don't know a British SCI FI comedy) yelling at Jessie James and Meowth from pokemon ( Who I hate with a passion) for being such lousy , repetitive , annoying and clichéd villains.It was this scene from red dwarf season 10 that gave me the idea for this.

No. But I honestly would take him over Team rocket any day. For one Rimmers is a "smeg head" but hes one of those love to hate or such a sore loser hes funny characters. In my opinion that is

Honestly, Team Rocket definitely got stale a LONG time ago (in fact, if you ask me, they should have gotten the axe back at the end of Johto, not Misty, especially when they LITERALLY had no business being in Hoenn onward.). It also doesn't help that the writers can't seem to figure out a good mix between making them humorous and a genuine threat (they were made too comedic and pathetic in AG and DP, also Johto to a lesser extent, and in BW, their more serious nature didn't even make them much more threatening than before. Sure, they beat Pikachu for once, but on the other hand, they still hadn't redeemed themselves of their loss against Caterpie). Even back in Kanto, where they generally were at least a genuine threat at times, they nonetheless got treated as bottom-feeding trainers since Episode 3 (with some earlier episodes even having Misty and Brock pointing out that Ash beating Team Rocket isn't exactly something to brag about, implying they're not even worthy opponents. And that was despite the fact that several episodes earlier in the series, including their debut episode, had them being a serious enough threat that they had wanted posters).
The Red Ribbon Army, and General Blue in particular from Dragon Ball did a FAR better job regarding being both funny AND a genuine threat to the hero than Team Rocket did.
And quite frankly, the only ones who had it even worse is the Galactic Empire from Star Wars, especially in the show Rebels (geez, going by that show, it's a mystery as to how the Empire even MANAGED to last a full year with THAT level of incompetence displayed by them, Rule of Fear or not.). And don't get me started on Return of the Jedi, especially the more infamous ground portion of Endor where they lost to the Ewoks (and what made it worse is that the only reason why that happened was because George Lucas wanted to do a commentary on Vietnam and tried to force it in.).

Today I a going to talk about Team Rocket, or more accurately, the worst written characters in all of fiction! They are worst than any character I have ever seen in my life! But I digress, before I lose my temper, let me show you why my anger is warranted. I am going to compare Team Rocket to much better villains, and maybe you'll see things my way. Let us begin.
Their Humor, A Term I Use Very Loosely
Back in the early seasons, Team Rocket was indeed funny, but over the years, their humor grew stale and now they aren't funny, they're just annoying. What made them funny was how they treated their jobs, they either took them too seriously, like Zim or Lord Hater, or not seriously at all, like Shego. Now, they can't decide if they want to be comically serious or comically stupid, so now they aren't either, they're just seriously stupid. They're just waving their arms around and shout

I agree that while Team Rocket are rather funny, they've run their course and it now seems pointless for them to be trying to catch Ash's Pikachu all the time.
