Habitat: Deep Ocean, Trenches

These bizzare looking animals are actually a highly specialized Caudapinnid, specializing for a deep ocean life style where they live similarly to anglerfish. Their method of reproduction is similar to an anglerfishes, however a bit more bizzare. For every male that has mated with a female, once they are absorbed their lure moves to the front. The largest member of this clade, Fossamivenator Zillus (Zillas Deep Hunter) can absorb around 15 males in a single life at maximum, although the average is around 6 or 7.
