Description
These Benthic scavengers eat small organisms and detritous. When a Thalattotheir carcass falls to the sea bed they are among the first creatures to find it, with a body covering of cetae they can sense a carcass from miles away. Their legs lack any bone structures, instead being stiffened by tendons. They use their pedipalps to manipulate food into the toothy throat. a certain species living in the intertidal zone has evolved to supplement their diet with washed up carcasses on beaches and in the shallows, evolving a watertight skin and evolving the ability to breath through pores all over their bodies.
