These Rotophylids are the first organisms to come onto land. The rivers on Nigel V follow the tides, so when the water receded, this clade of Rotophylids had to adapt to being out of the water periodically. As time went on, this clade could spend more and more time out of the water, soon becoming fully terrestrial and took over the river banks and coastline. Their gametes are lighter and smaller, aswell as having small hair like structures to help the wind carry them.
