this picture was a request by . and yes i do requests sometimes. gives me a reason to make some cool pictures, and try new things i normally wouldn't make on my own.
so yeah i was requested to make a Piko X V-flower picture. i'm personally not that big into Vocaloid shipping, but hey i can make exceptions sometimes and make cute pics with two or more vocaloids. and well for this pic the references i was given gave me the inspiration to have the two of them sitting in a flower field. so i went on Bowlroll to find some stages that worked perfectly for my idea, and i came across this one seiga.nicovideo.jp/seiga/im660… by Hiro K, and it was perfect for what i needed. it also has an english instruction video so i'll also link that right now www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADXe6K… . but finding the right stage dome was a bigger challenge... so yeah i go Bowlroll snooping for stages and stuff to use when making pics, because i don't always have the right stages for what i have in mind, plus some of them are just so old, or just not that great for pictures.
this picture, it was a lot of fun to make, in fact i went quite all out on detailing the poses but due to the flowers and camera angle you just don't see them, but being lazy is just not in my vocabulary when working on pictures like this, especially when they are meant for someone else.
i originally wanted to use Raycast shader, but settled for IKpollish, because Ray just left a big disconnect between the models and flowers, trust me it didn't look good at all. and Ikpollish solved my problem.

anyway my effects were: Ikpollish, O_PixelEdgeBlur, HgSAO, HgSSAO, HgDof, an IkTonemap variant called AutumnSunset, an O_tonemap varriant called CustardCreampuff, postmovie,and PostAnalogueTV. settings not given this time around.
