Everyone loves a happy ending
Nobody wants to hear about death
But with me on their plate,
Having both is not an option

I want room to walk, sleep, and breathe
I want to meet my mom, and my brothers
I want to be able to see the world
Outside of this way too small cage

I live in constant fear
Fear that I'll be next
They take my friends
And never bring them back

Who knew the day I get out
I would be dragged out
And thrown into a full truck
To later be unloaded and killed

There was no escape for me
I was stuck on this assembly line
Crying out in pure agony
As I got closer to my time of dying

You'd think they'd make it quick and painless
You'd think they'd spare us any more pain
Instead they let me hang with my throat slit
And ruthlessly skin me alive

That's how I ended up on your plate
Your "delicious piece of meat"
From a factory farm and slaughter house
Where I was born, raised, and murdered.
