Description
While looking through endangered plants for the Mini-activity part of the event, I found a particular Critically Endangered plant. It's called boreal felt lichen and the 1 thing I immediately knew about it is that I definitely don't find it very pleasing to look at. I read more on what it's impact is on the foresty mountains in Norway and learned it's capable of fixing nitrogen, which is an extremely important part of life. This helps the trees in the area grow since nitrogen fixation is an essential part in biosynthesis.
The point of all this is that it's really important to focus on any endangered species of animals or plants when they have a positive effect on the environment, even if it doesn't look very pleasing.

I highly recommend donating to any endangered conservation charities that have proof of helping out endangered species that need it the most.
