Tracing to make bases is actually against deviantArt's rules entirely :/ it falls under their definition of art theft, unless you have the express permission of the original artist

Yeah, a lot of people get absolutely furious when I mention it to them, because apparently somehow the fact that I casually mention one rule to a few people means I am now somehow obligated to personally track down and deal with every last single instance...
Point being, the rules say you need permission before tracing something, but if you don't wanna listen to me, you don't have to

My sister did get hate one time. she told me it was okay but I was a little rebel and told my Mom, I was so mad at that person, i wanted to punch them right in the gut and then again in the face and break their nose! and then in the gut again... and shoot them in the face.... maybe not that last part, but you get the jest of it.
