"Can't you come up with NEW insults!"
"SHUT UP!"
All the other nations sighed, couldn't you two realize how much you liked each other. Yep, you guessed it you and Romano were arguing again. When you both calmed down, you were going to sit down and everyone else relaxed a bit till Antonio also known as Spain spoke up "You two would be the cutest couple if you would stop arguing! Si?". Everyone's eyes widen at the Spainard's statement till they all nodded in agreement.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!!" You and Romano yelled in unison. All the countries groaned that you had started arguing again. They didn't bother to listen to the rest of curses, profanities and insults that left the two young countries' mouths.
That was till they heard some insults that even they knew hit them where it hurt. "God! All you guys are the same damnit! So fucking inconsiderate or air-headed!" You yelled at him. That hurt him to be called that by YOU! His crush of who knows HOW LONG!! But him being the stubborn person he is he threw more insults instead of ending it. He replied with "Who told you to fuck them all! You whore!". Okay, you knew that hurt. Hell, you're still a virgin AND you never had a boyfriend OR a first kiss!

The both of you stormed out in opposite directions. All the other countries saw that you were crying on your way out it was so obvious even Sealand could notice.

You were on your way out of the meeting when you found a little abandoned playground so you sat on the swings for a bit. All you were thinking about was that dumbass Romano. You hated the guy, him and his love for tomatoes and his hotheaded stubbornness and his blushing face and his adorable curl that bobbed around when he walked or moved in anyway.... WAIT WHAT we're you thinking! You don't like him, right! You realized that the reason why all his insults directed to you hurt so much because you liked him! No scratch that, LOVED HIM. You were in denial to your feelings because you didn't want to be hurt by him or rejected by him. You were thinking of ways to tell him and wondering why till your thought process was interrupted by a voice behind you. "Ve~ Bella, are-a you okay?". It was Italian, but it sounded worried so it couldn't be Romano. You turned your head to be faced with Romano's younger brother Italy. You sighed, "I'm fine Italy, I'm just... thinking.". "Then-a why are you-a crying, bella?", he responded. " I'm not crying Ita-", as you felt you cheeks, he was right, you really are crying but you didn't notice because it felt so normal to you. Had you always cried after meetings where you argued with the angry Italian? "Bella?" Italy asked uncertainly afraid you'd yell at him like you did with his brother. "I'm sorry Italy I have to go...". Before he could answer, you ran home.

Time-skip of time!

After that meeting neither you or Romano had gone to any world meetings in fear of seeing each other and fighting. But it hurt more to stay and not see him than to go and fight with him. He was afraid of being hurt by your insults, he loved your sweet voice, he loved how sassy you were, he loved your smile, he loved your name, (Y/n), it really rolled off his tongue, he loved your silky, (H/L), (H/C) hair, he loved your personality, but mostly he loved how much you were like him, hiding your true feelings of care and affection behind your facade of anger and annoyance.

That day, before the meeting could take place, Toni showed up at your house, panting and concerned. "Chica, please go to this meeting, the other countries and I are worried, please?", He begged giving you his best puppy eyes. You sighed, "Fine.. If anything happens Toni, it'll be all your fault." You said. He instantly brighten up at the sound of you agreeing, obviously ignoring the second part of your statement. "Just let me change into my uniform..." You told him. You walked to your room and dressed in your army uniform which had a black trench-coat with black pants tucked into your black combat boots, you hid your pocket knife in your coat in case something happened. You left the house with Toni, then Toni got a text from Italy telling him that he got Romano to get out and go.

Timeskip~ Ooooohhh!!

When you arrived at the world meeting, you were glomped by a few countries such as Italy, America, and Hungary. You somehow managed to get them off by telling them certain things that concerned pasta, hamburgers and Austria's underwear. You sat in your normal seat between America and Germany. You looked around and noticed that there was no Romano. The meeting got no where till America said no yelled that we should play a game. When you asked what game, he only shoved people into different rooms and locked the doors when he pushed you in to a room he immediately locked the door and ran. You looked around the room and realized there was no light switch, it was a closet and you weren't alone there was a figure curled up on the floor, fast asleep. When you looked closer you figured out that the person was Romano! "HOLY CRAP! AMERICA GET ME OUT!! NOW!", You shouted. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH NO CAN DO DUDE!!" He replied. You pounded on the door with all your might. All the noise woke up the sleeping Italian. "Oi, tomato bastard shut the hell up-a, I'm trying to sleep!" He angrily stated. When he found out it was you he was utterly shocked.
"R-ragazza, w-what are y-you d-doing here?!?" He managed to stutter out. When you didn't answer with a witty comeback, he got worried. Then, he saw your tears fall even though your bangs covered your face. He realized that you felt the same way he did after the argument. He pulled you into a hug to comfort you. At first, you tensed at the sudden affection from him, then you eased yourself into his arms and finally hugged back, silently sobbing into the fabric of his uniform shirt. He patted your head and rubbed your back, whispering sweet nothings into your ear in Italian to calm you till your tears reduced to sniffles. He pulled away from your embrace and looked you in the eyes. He was going to say something until you cut him off. "Ti amo, Lovi~", You whispered in his ear. He was shocked you felt the same way, romantic wise. "Ti amo troppo, (Y/n)..." He replied. He leaned in, and placed his lips on yours in a sweet and gentle kiss, it was as if he thought you were porcelain and didn't want to shatter you to pieces. You kissed back, and you felt something in your heart they weren't sparks nor fireworks, they were bombs, good ones because they broke down your facade's walls around your heart. Romano brought out the real you and your feelings. You thank him for that. Sadly, that moment was ruined by a door opening, a flash and some laughing countries. You and Romano pulled away and chased them to get those pictures back. You never did... But Romano learned one thing....

Romano brought out the real you and your feelings. You thank him for that. Sadly, that moment was ruined by a door opening, a flash and some laughing countries. You and Romano pulled away and chased them to get those pictures back. You never did... But Romano learned one thing....
