These look really cool! Great composition! I have questions. I never use slick surface shoes when paint is involved because I don't know what is best to keep from cracking? I also have failed when trying to use decoupage (spelling?) to adhere and coat paper. Every time I use it remains somewhat sticky.

They are always going to end up kind of sticky. I coat the shoes with a few layers of Acrylic Sealant. It helps to protect them!!

Well, the shoes started out entirely hot pink. So I had to paint them gold and black (Including the buckle). Then I used Mod Podge and two WW comics and then retouched with paint again!

It takes soap and water to really mess them up. But they aren't a rainy day shoe, sadly.
