What I did this Labor day weekend is draw my favorites OC couple Musashi and Dyoko.This drawing has a lot going on, so I will explain.
In this drawing Musashi and Dyoko are posing with their new weapons and background arch enemy's. Musashi secondary weapons are the twin wield Bright Mornings and Quiet Nights, swords. Dyoko's weapon is a great sword called Kazespidus (Wind Spider.) In the background clips Musashi side, you see his arch enemy Evile and on Dyoko side is Yagyu CramX.
I have to say, I was very surprised about my drawing because their is so much business. I didn't even give the paper a break, I wanted to fill the paper up with my influences and ideas.

well it looks like a good cover for a manga and you can tell on both sides of the picture that there is going to be an epic fight on they're hands.

Yeah and their completes opposites.
Musashi will go against the chick on the left and Dyoko will go against a guy name Odarpas Cram on the right.

Their is tons going on in this drawing. It describes Musashi and Dyoko beginning their adventure filled with laughs, danger, epicness and some ecchi moments.
Trivia: Musashi and Dyoko have arch enemy's beside them.

I love the shine in her hair, the look on the bad guys face, and all the little patterns. ^_^

Well I did receive a comment saying "Well man you make really cute girls" I got red and said "well thanks. I do practice on female manga characters on my spare time"
I love Dyoko she is one of my best OC's I created out of no where. ^_^
The bad guy is her arch revile who wants to kill her but at the same time has a affection for her. Hes is obsessed with her, as time goes he studies her, finding weakness in her attacks and personal life.
The patterns are completely random and I add parts as I continued with the drawing. What's funny is it takes kinda like a manga chapter to my surprise. ^_^

I have college projects. This week I will doing some huge cross hatching finals so I will be busy over the week and weekend.

First things first, the background is freakin' awesome. Very well done my friend.
the seems perfect, however, both of there fingers need to be.. a bit thicker, and not taper to the ends. if you look at your fingers, they're relatively the same diameter all the way to the tip. i.e. rounded off cylinders, not cones.
The guys head is sorta... wonky.... (lol, i wonder who was the inspiration for his looks XD) also, the guy's forearms need to be a bit bulged. not square (lol.) just put your fingers on your shoulder and look over your forearm to see what i mean.
other that that, its great!
I would suggest, that you do something with the guys shirt. like put a logo on it or something, because when you look at the girl, the stripes seem to be just the right amount of.... design, to her top.
so a bit more design with the shirt would be good.
It is pretty obvious that you are improving tremendously with drawing girls (jee, i wonder why??) but, the guy does leave some room for improvement. however, that should come with practice as it did before.

You are very right about the finger and forearm work, I am still in practice in this production still,fingers are hard as artist like me.
You are also right about my male character having empty space on his shirt, but its a under armor workout shirt for workouts. I should have put a logo on it. I had thoughts of one, to tell you the truth. ^_^
I am getting better at drawings girls, I wounder why. Any way thank you for the critique.

Theirs tons that I did to this drawing like, Dyoko is wearing Musashi's jacket, wrapped around her wast.
Dyoko has a big sword as a starter weapon.
Musashi's arch enemy is a promiscuous incubus being who is obsessed with Musashi.
Dyoko's arch enemy is the same as Musashi's enemy, but more darker.
