What if you incorporated like a Rainbow Scheme for the Zodiac Keys- so they flow in order. Also, you can try and make the end a metalworked design of the symbol instead of the symbol just kinda tacked on the end of the keys.
Also, I don't think they necessarily need to look like the typical key. For example, for Aquarius's key I would do streams of water spiraling around the center rod. (Hope that makes sense) I guess just make them more dynamic than regular keys.
This is a very good drawing- I'm not critiquing that but they do look pretty similar to the originals. I can understand why you'd want to personalize them a bit more plus that's fun! It's hard knowing what direction to go though. Hopefully, I sparked your imagination a bit.

They still look like the can fit in a regular lock though- They aren't very intricate in terms of differing from a typical key shape. Maybe make them double pronged or have the actual part the goes into the lock shaped differently. Just some ideas.

um not really, none of the gold keys look like they would fit in a lock, only the silver keys do, and all the gold keys are double pronged anyway
