i had a sudden inspiration one day to draw an okami fanart so with little resistance to the urge i made this.

I love how you took the time to draw the light strands emanation from her body. The paintbrush endings on the arms, legs and tail are very nice as well, and it all seems to flow together.

Aw man. D: I've really been wanting to play Okami, but my brother lost the disk on me.
But the game is absolutely fantastic, and I think this picture is, too. I think oftentimes people make the light tendrils on Amaterasu look...unnatural, but they look great here.

yes this game by far is posibly the most isperational piece known to man
I think most ppl tend to stick to outlining to where its a habit and accidenta;ly outline the tendrils.
i noticed when i did they didnt freeflow aswell as i expected so i just used the palette knife to sway the white out.

Oh I loved this game down to the very last flower. It was probably one of the only games that made me cry out of the unity it created within the story. <3
