I like that she turns into a kitty on the show. Ranma's one weakness. Heh heh. I think I liked the manga most only because the subbed anime was so hard to find and they really did a bad job for the dub. At least in the beginning they all sounded like the Peanuts gang with Ranma sounding like Charlie Brown and Akane sounded like Lucy Van Pelt. Oh good grief! Or as Ranma would say "So Un Cute!"

I've never seen the dubbed anime(only Japanese with Portuguese subs) but I've seen very few episodes of the anime too, I just met Shampoo in the mangá(that's on hold because I don't have the next editions XD).
But as far as I've seen of anime dubbing to the English language, it was really pretty terrible(though Brazilian anime dubbers are p good in my opinion

Then you're lucky. In the US we got a very poor quality dub. It's like they chose VA's that had just started or something. No talent. I prefer manga when that happens because then they sound the way I want in my head. There's a lot of volumes of the manga. I think it goes beyond 30? I had up to 19 and then I couldn't find more locally. I bet I could now though because manga is more popular than it was years ago. A few years ago I couldn't find any except in comic shops. Now you can find manga in almost any normal book store where I live. It's great. And now online. I really should start getting the others soon. I want to find out what happens.

38 actually, I'm pretty hipped about it since I can only buy it online from a comic shop that not really nearby but close-ish, it's so funny though, worth every penny XD
