Vampires in my setting are on a spectrum related to ghosts. It's how the "mist" ability works, and why they need the lifeforce of mortals to stay in the mortal realm. So yeah, proton packs would probably reliably work. Traps, not so much.

It does feel a bit muted somehow, but I bet the final version will be amazing!

I desaturated the base colors so the output wouldn't look too dark. the bg for this would be air so much of the environmental light would strike the character. I don't know yet if the bg would fit but it would be good if the bg does not compete with the character nor would the character compete wit the bg. Ghibli films had their character color to muted and minimal. I wish to try that.
