One of my earliest memories is being in the video store with my mom and begging to rent this film again and again. I must have seen it dozens of times as a child. I downloaded it a few months ago for nostalgia's sake and watching it nearly brought tears to my eyes. It made me realize how everything you see and hear as a child shapes who you become. My entire life I have had an enduring love of nature and magic, a belief that there are beautiful mysteries in this world, and a longing for simplicity. I will always love this film.
