At the time, when the Tutorial came out, I couldn't make up my mind on how to draw my Rose piece.
I didn't know if I wanted it to be a single rose, a double feature > www.deviantart.com/anisa-mazak… or a triple feature > www.deviantart.com/anisa-mazak… cuz I kept feeling like my designs were "too nice looking" for DA, (which is how I just gave them away in Anon Requests more easily), until eventually I just told myself to do it and get it over with, and ended up working on this piece now before you

I used reference photos for a species of Roses called "Veterans' Honor", which I only found out about, through an Indian User on one of the mobile apps I use - ("Rum Bottle"), where he was playing a "Guess this Flower" game with several Community Members via the main Island feed and I ended up reading the comments people left. One person mentioned the species and I got curious to see what it was. This is one of the ref pics I used > encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/ima… , to help me figure out how to create the design of the piece and while I am aware that traditionally, Veteran's Honor tends to be red, I wanted my Art to have alittle more...colour variety, so I used colour codes off of this Rose Vector piece > d2gg9evh47fn9z.cloudfront.net/…

Please note that if anything looks off, do not shoot me. This was the best I could do in my Art Style, given that I haven't drawn or coloured much in the last 2 to 3 years, cuz I'd been spending my time more focusing on dealing with my Mental Health recovery.
