Here are a few reasons I hate about this pairing:
•The central plot of the comics became about this relationship.
•Sonic became obsessed with Sally, leading to him acting out of character; getting jealous and even acting desperate.
•He would frequently mope about their relationship.
•If Sonic couldn't be with Sally, you would actually see him cry.
•Blatant favoritism of Sally; the writers would takes shots at alternate love interests and pairings in order to make Sally and Sonally look good in comparison.
