i love the upper four. like the boldness, of it yet its still traditional. maybe you should explore this way for a while.

It does doesn't it? I mean if I were to give a person an original artwork, digitalized work is not the same.
But i guess today, digital painting is also becoming important no. How is it to you considering you have illustrate books??

Yes, I kinda have that feeling too. I must admit that I do prefer traditional to digital art, because I relate better to the first one. I get more "feelings" from it. Besides, I am not great at digital work, so it kinda puts me off...
But, on the other hand, when you are trained digital work can be a very fast way to solve certain jobs. It can be modified easily and you can set it in different formats and sizes, without having to deal with scan or photography. what is more, the colour management is always easier and the illustration is more likely to come out well printed.
I believe that digital art is always better when it stops using a generalized style, and known formulas. It's the imagination of the artist what can make it something unique and personal. Here in Argentina there are some amazing digital illustrators, who convey what I am talking about in every work. Here are some links, check them out:

Thanks for asking for my opinion on the subject!

True. You explained it perfectly what I had in mind. I still feel it is an unfair advantage especially when it comes to competitions and stuff. But the options still out there if we choose to go towards digital painting, but surprisingly I refuse to learn it. Maybe I'm old and I like to hold on to traditional things (but I'm only 21 LOL)
ooh I think you might like this artist too :[link]
