eeaa me alegro q te gusten! Sí si, por ahi me comentaron que podrían ser la versión argento de Peanuts... Quiero asegurar que no es copia, simplemente una influencia muy grande. Amo a Snoopy y sus amigos, desde siempre!

I am very glad you liked it!!! I do traditional art almost 100% of the time It rules!

KhadijahNekmat In reply to AnitaMorra [2011-07-26 14:53:25 +0000 UTC]

It does doesn't it? I mean if I were to give a person an original artwork, digitalized work is not the same.
But i guess today, digital painting is also becoming important no. How is it to you considering you have illustrate books??

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AnitaMorra In reply to KhadijahNekmat [2011-07-28 04:28:53 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I kinda have that feeling too. I must admit that I do prefer traditional to digital art, because I relate better to the first one. I get more "feelings" from it. Besides, I am not great at digital work, so it kinda puts me off...
But, on the other hand, when you are trained digital work can be a very fast way to solve certain jobs. It can be modified easily and you can set it in different formats and sizes, without having to deal with scan or photography. what is more, the colour management is always easier and the illustration is more likely to come out well printed.
I believe that digital art is always better when it stops using a generalized style, and known formulas. It's the imagination of the artist what can make it something unique and personal. Here in Argentina there are some amazing digital illustrators, who convey what I am talking about in every work. Here are some links, check them out:

Thanks for asking for my opinion on the subject!

KhadijahNekmat In reply to AnitaMorra [2011-07-30 12:14:16 +0000 UTC]

True. You explained it perfectly what I had in mind. I still feel it is an unfair advantage especially when it comes to competitions and stuff. But the options still out there if we choose to go towards digital painting, but surprisingly I refuse to learn it. Maybe I'm old and I like to hold on to traditional things (but I'm only 21 LOL)

ooh I think you might like this artist too :[link]

AnitaMorra In reply to KhadijahNekmat [2011-07-31 16:26:24 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I just found out his art a couple of days ago! He has some really emotive stuff, I like it!
Still, I feel that same way you do hehe, Traditional art is still the winner of my heart, haha! But I believ we can always learn new stuff, you should be open to learning many things in the future, that way you will grow as an artist, no doubt about it!

Uhy que buenazo que esta!

En que parte usaste le tinta china?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AnitaMorra In reply to ManekiNeko11 [2011-07-25 06:18:38 +0000 UTC]

Muchas gracias!!!
La tinta china la aplique a los bordes de los dibujos, lo hice con pincel. El "adentro" o coloreado está hecho con acuarelas.
Gracias por preguntar!
