I've seen your Benczur's study and have found it to be nice and with perfect colors representation.. Did you use dropper tool or took colors by eyes? If it's answerable questions, of cause.

I haven't been in Budapest, to my sorrow, but i've seen many other academists of 19th century in originals, it's their's very preferable color range actually. Also i know some good reproductions of Buda Reprise. And as far as i know, it's actually big - more than 7 meters long.

Actually i didn't mean any cheat anyway. Masterpiece study should get various purposes: composition, shapes modeling, lighting ets, not just for colors. But making it by eyes is a very nyce training, you are cool in that.

Eastern color palettes are so beautiful…cant say how much i love them. Ah…great, i assumed right, its very big would love to have such a commission too !!

Its nevertheless more fun picking colors it with our own judgement - doing it digitally is so easy, compared to traditional, where you wast most of the time only mixing the right colors. Especially when you work oversize, where the real trouble begins (traditional). I uploaded a smaller version, the original is 70% bigger.

Agree with you. Dropplet and overdrawing is not true djedi way.   I don't like to use them when study as well. No fun - is the most exact description.

Thank you so much, dear Neha. May i have my ask, why you call them "celtic"? Afraid, its a lack in my english...

"celtic" is a word that symbolically means free spirit. So, if a thing is described as "celtic", it means it has an element of free abandon. Your brush strokes have an element of free movement which creates a beautiful sense of being natural and wild.

Celtic can be a confusing word is its actual meaning is belonging to the celtic region.

However I meant it symbolically.

simply put, your brush strokes are beautifully free in movement.

Oh, free movement and spirit.   I don't know about this meaning but it's very much to my liking.
No, actually i'm not confused, just being curious to get new tints of live language. I've already spoken my english is too scanty, so i very interested in additional nuances. Thank you for showing them. And thank you for your kind words as well.

You are always most welcome Anna.
One of the reasons for my fascination for art from your country is that most of the artists are masters of creating an atmosphere of free abandon in their use of colours and brush strokes, giving a sense that all the elements are naturally coming together. And I just love that "celtic" spirit. This includes your work too
