Description This took me almost 45 hours to finish. The reference was a photo I saw in the "Encyclopedia of Mammals".
IΒ΄m quite happy with the way it turned out.

I absolutely adore pumas. They're so beautiful, and their marking are subtle, yet intriguing.

45 hours? Wow. You certainly have a lot of patience. This turned out wonderfully, and the hours of work are definitely visible in the piece.

I love cougars, too, and when I saw this photo I just had to paint it.

Those 45 hours were distributed over 5 months...I can only work on acrylic paintings in a studio once a week because I donΒ΄t have enough room for that at home

Always having to wait a whole week kind of keeps you interested...you donΒ΄t look at the same thing for many hours on end, instead you always look forward to finally being allowed to work on it again.
