Two of my own characters. I just wanted to get this scene done, because I never really got it right and tried to get their looks straight.I am pleased with the way the guy, Miguel came out, but Amche the girl looks a bit too old here I think, since she is supposed to be 19.
Amche is very careful about who she lets close to her and so far, only her boss had earned her trust and is allowed to shave her head. H smokes while she is drinking tea and no one talks. perfect.
How do you hold the knive when shaving someone?

Oh, well...
It is a story I came up with when I was a teen and added to regularly, but I am still missing a few things in the middle.
Since I am more of a visual person, I had planned for it to be a comic or maybe even a visual novel, but I'd have to get the style for characters' clothes and the architecture of all the cities done, so this will still take some time.
I don't know how much you'd like to know, so just stop reading if you no longer care^^
My story is about...aliens? Kind of?
They wrote down a prediction of future events they found so important that they had to carve it into stone tablets, so later generations would know what to do.
But the humans they kept as slaves fought against them and the many environmental hazards of the planet they colonized caused even more trouble,
that they decided to flee and let the planet go to hell.
The now dominant humans wanted to destroy every sign of the aliens' former power, so they burned and smashed and banned everything that had to do with them.
Due to that, the knowledge of the alien language was pretty much lost.
But some humans still remembered aspects of the "prophecy", so when it seemed that the event was about to start, they assembled groups of scientists and linguists to uncover the secrets of the lost alien-speak.
Those two are actually the antagonists of the story, because he wants to keep the prevention method for himself.

Another question is why your heroine shaves her head? what is her natural hair colour? and will she always keep it bald/how often does she shave it?

Eh, I'm not sure about the "how often", because I'd have to look into hair growing rate for that, but if she has the time to shave her head, she does; so regularly?
Her natural hair colour is brown or dark blond and her hair was pretty long as a kid, but she felt it was more trouble than it was worth and gradually reduced length until there was nothing left.
Shaving her head gave her back some control over her live, but I don't know if she'll ever feel secure enough to let it grow back. For her, it's a vulnerability, which means she might still be doing this in the future.
I have not decided yet.

I'd say keep her a baldy, shaved heads can be really sexy on some women.
It would be cool to see a before/after picture.
Maybe you can give her a tattoo also.

Well, just yesterday I drew one of the guys from the story, but I guess you probably don't care too much about him.
She actually already has a tattoo, and due to the fact that she's only 19, having her shave her head for the rest of her life seems like a bit of a chore. She also lives in a very cold climate, and humans loose a lot of body heat via the head, so I have to take that into consideration as well, and not base my decisions on how sexy something might be.
I have a bald goddess who doesn't care about winter, but humans have to keep their health in mind.

Yeah, whenever I work on something that is worthy to be posted I think.
My notes are pretty messy and surrounded or covered by doodles and nothing is set in stone, so most of the stuff is pretty embarassing.

well, generally yes, but do you say bald to a shaved head? I thought only real baldness (where you drop your hair like a hot potato all over the place) was baldness.

She had pretty long hair as a kid, i totally look forward to drawing some kind of age meme or something.

i think more people would draw bald women, if they did not suffer from bad anatomy.
i mean specifically the "no brain head" that is way too small but can be covered up by a bunch of hairdo.
