I love this photograph. I would love to use it on our charity website (which deals with empowering women in poor rural villages in india - among other goals.) Speaking of organizations empowering young girls, have you heard of Shakti (the organization called Shakti, not the word in general)? You should take a look at it. It was founded by Anandmurti Gurumaa (www.gurumaa.com) and pays school fees for underprivileged girls so they can be educated and live independently. It also provides further trade education after their basic studies, among other programs.
