The circumstances of one's birth is out of their control. They have no say in who their parents are, nor can they decide where they are born, what sibling order they are in, or what social standing they'll be part of. In all their helplessness they come to the world still, innocent souls sent on the journey of life and existence - and all the toils and troubles that come with it. To pray for a baby is not only to wish them happiness and peace, but to grant them the strength to overcome all the pain and strife to achieve it.

Amaranthe(Mara) was only three weeks old when his parents took him to Foxglove's forest. He was left to their friend, Sunflower, to raise him, for they would not. Young as he was, Mara knew the fleeting forms of his parents would likely be the last he'd ever see of them. And so he cried. Till the tears on his cheeks turned to frost and he fell to sleep from exhaustion, the little kit cried for his parents to return.
