Renders are images that are still the original image but with something cut out. For example in the link above, the image's background was cut out and you save the file with a transparent background. Which then makes it a render.

Thanks ^_^ It's not hard for me xP Well, how I do this is easy for me xD First I just outline everything, add base colors, shadow colors then add the 'smooth' effect then I'm done xD I can do a tutorial if you want xD
