I just love the thought of the Ravagers being one big, crazy family! If you think so to, I recommend looking up this fanfiction series by Donatello7 called The Day The Music Died, it focuses on Peter Quill's relationship with Yondu and Kraglin and it the most beautiful stories I have EVER read!! Tears of Joy dudes, seriously!!

I got really into Guardians of the Galaxy this past summer but what really got me hooked was Yondu and the thought of him raising Peter and Kraglin to be Ravagers and of course being their father figure. I mean you don't raise a kid for more than 20 years or make a guy your right hand man without forming some kind of family relationship with them, even when you don't want your crew to know how much of a softy you are for kids

This song was the last bit of inspiration I needed to make my decision for this piece. I heard it after watching Ice Age 4 and just fell in love with the lyrics. Although I do make a change in the words when it comes to relating it to this franchise and characters; when she says "And I wouldn't replace not a thing; Mother or Father", I replace "Mother" with "Brother". I imagine if Peter were to sing his own version of the song, he's say "Brother" to represent Kraglin and "Father" for Yondu.

So yeah, I see Yondu as being Pete's father who's always hard on him and Kraglin as the big brother who does his best to keep him out of trouble, but they both still loves each other no matter what
