You know, sometimes I look at people and think “It’s 2021 but we’re still judging others for how they look or live their lives”.

Of course this problem is bigger in “less civilized” countries.

In Russia, for example, visiting psychologist or taking antidepressants still may be a sign of weakness. People may think that you’re weak or crybaby and just can’t solve your own problems.

Or girls of my age are constantly shamed and pressured for not having kids.

This pressure is everywhere - family, news, government, doctors..(believe me I know)

And I’m not saying about LGBT! Jeeez, situation with this is really bad here and it makes me incredibly sad.

I still can’t believe that someone should hide their love for other person or have psychiatric tests if they want to change gender.

I mean what??

And about 10-15 years ago here having tattoos meant that you probably were in prison or you’re a criminal of some sort...

Yes, situation is changing, but very slowly.

That’s also sad, because we all have one life and everyone of us wants to be happy and to be who they are.

Without hiding, without being pressured, forced or judged. In my country, people like me are outcasts. Rebels. Nonconformists.We think differently, we look differently, we’re out of system, we celebrate differences.

But I’m happy to be free from all the stereotypes and stupid rules.

Problem is much deeper though. How many times in Instagram I’ve been labeled “satanic” or “witch” for drawing demons/ pentagrams? Or criticized for photos and art with cigarettes?

My motto is live and let live.

If people want to smoke, eat fast food, have different lifestyle, wear revealing clothes, play video games, draw demons, have rainbow colored hair, tattoos on the face...just let them be, because it makes them happy and they shouldn’t feel guilt for choosing “different” look or life.

P.S. Weapon & bullets have a metaphorical sense.It’s more about mental protection & “leave me alone” thing.
