It drew me in from the thumbnail. I love that you varied the colors in the shadows. Very evocative of a melancholy feeling.

All perfection, from the model to the painting. You're beautiful.

Looks really good. The pose actually reveals your hesitance to photograph yourself, you look a bit reticent and shy, almost ashamed of yourself even (Not that you are, just describing the feels I get from the artworkΒ Β ) Too skinny does not come to mind when I see this at all. I believe that there are hordes of women out there who would kill for your figure, as well as hordes of men who would like to see more of it. As people, we tend to not like to hear ourselves recorded, or see ourselves in photos/film. It's unnerving on some primal level I think. This would be a good icebreaker for you if you plan on doing more of these in the future, as anything gets easier with practice.
You captured the essence of your face well, which to my mind is 90% of a portrait, to capture the basic personality of the subject ( As compared to your photo on the front page). You showed a good deal of bravery in my opinion to take an unblinkered look at yourself. I wouldn't do it probably.Β
I like the overall color pallet and background theme, and the textures are showing through well.
Nice job.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I'm glad the face is ok, for some reasons it's really hard for me to paint my own face that's why it's partly unfinished.

I think it looks pretty good.
Caught my eye as I was perusing the new posts. Something about the textures and work with the lines produces an interesting (can't find the proper word, so forgive this lame substitute) effect.
Thank you for sharing.
