Things become distorted and out of season. The sun gives off a cold glow that gives no comfort, and there is often a threatening appearance about the skies signifying the likelihood of another storm. Whatever happens on our own planet is likely to also be happening to the distant planets we know nothing about - such as this one. Let your imagination tell you the rest...

Yesterday I watched the Lord of the Rings for Goddess knows of how many times... But this is something I imagine would be the next era in the land of Sauron after his eye is destroyed... the dark, fire-ridden and lava-filled lands... once the fire and lava stills and hardens.... the next era amongst those dark peaks of mountainst... flowers will once again bloom again....

I find it fascinating how some of these scenes can seem to attach to various different concepts and ideas. I think it's one of the reasons I so enjoy making them. Thank you for your encouragement and support

Very atmospheric work! The shapes on the left looked to me like ghostly figures, at first, but could also be the remains of an old ship, being battered and worn by the waves. I love the details and the colour!

Thank you! Those "rock formations" on the left do seem to have a kind of life of their own; I see faces, particularly eyes and ears, of mysterious creatures in them too. I like the thought of the remains of an old ship - but a ghost one - too! It was fun to do
