I used velvet clay long time ago, so it's not new to me. It's much more flexible and lighter than polymer clay.

Ohh, I see. Some brands of polymer clay are a bit too soft and mushy, is it like that or does it hold texture well?

It's... bit another, I think. Textures you can make with it are truly gorgeous, but you need to make a base (of wire or anything else) to make your figure stand. It's almost like a paste, but longer you hold it on the air, less flexible it becomes.
