*ahem* I've never done a "critique" really before but I've read plenty through out DA and they seem to get a bit fancy

I however, will not :]

I like this piece. It's wonderful, the concept of a forest mushroom being somewhat of a street light is shuweet! The frog underneath it, makes this photo even shuWEETER! This is AWESOME!

Hence, why I faved it.

Now here are some hopefully helpful insights on this...I understand you wanted the focus to be both on the frog AND the mushroom, however, you have too much darkness and too much blurr, it confuses the eyes.

Try to get the whole body of the frog in focus, as it probably would be if a street light (or mushroom lamp lol) was directly above it. The frog also looks a little too dark, for being under direct light, the background should be dark, not the focal point of the photograph.

The light illuminating from the 'shroom, is over all well done, however, I would suggest getting rid of those bright lines, they make the photo look less realistic, and also look as though someone has scratched their nails across the picture (or something of that nature).

Not all that big on the frame.
