Collected Knowledge: Werecats are known for their skulking habits and the unusual strength and flexibility packed in their tiny frame. They prefer to stalk from a distance, silently following their prey for at least a day before pouncing (usually from a higher ground, by example: treetops in forested areas, higher rises in mountains and hills) and using their tremendous strength to wrestle their target to the ground and tickle them senseless. Though they have a less than basic understanding of human customs, werecats are not unintelligent. They are very adept at using the environment to their advantage (by example: burying prey up to their necks in beaches or using vines as makeshift gags and rope) and will wait until their victim lowers his or her guard before striking.

Their favourite targets are by far the bottoms of their victim’s feet. Well-endowed women may find their breasts and buttocks a target for ticklish assault as well. As ticklers, they are relentless, and when hungry they will use their rough tongues, sharp claws, and soft paws to feed on the laughter of their victims. Additionally, after feeding, it is not uncommon for them to continue toying with their victims for up to a few hours, usually with playful, teasing tickles, despite being full. Sexual assaults during such impish sessions are not uncommon as well, though the werecat’s aim will rarely be procreation.

Usually, werecats are encountered alone or, rarely, in pairs. As they are solitary hunters, travelling in a group in dangerous territory is advised. The only exception is when a group of werecats are collectively in heat***. While they are indiscriminate in choosing victims for feeding, they will exclusively seek out males when they are in heat, and the entire group will use their strength, often augmented during this period, to mate and feed, not leaving until each member of the group has been satisfied. In such instances it is possible to see anywhere from four to six werecats prowling together.

* It is theorized that werecats track their prey using their sharp, almost supernatural, sense of smell. In particular, they have a nose for sweat and feet, with an especially insatiable taste for the latter. If possible, it is advised that travellers pace themselves and dress in well-ventilated shoes, so as to minimize the chances of a werecat picking up their trail.

** -Writer’s Note: It sounds crazy, I know, and we found out completely by accident, but the werecat’s tail is her most ticklish spot. If you’re under attack, just start playing with it, running your fingers through it, a minute or two of any ticklish attention is usually enough to render her helpless with laughter.

*** A werecat in heat is different from a werecat that is aroused. Werecats often get aroused during their feeding sessions, or when they are toying with their victims thereafter, but a werecat in heat will hunt solely for the purpose of reproducing, and will tickle only to weaken the male before forcing herself upon him.
