Description Piece made for my AC/ Les Miserables series. I may or may not do more of these. But I liked the idea of the scene of Cristina's death as Eponine's.

Cause, Eponine did something, vs. Cristina who was completely overrated. Pretending she's Eponine gives her death some dignity. haha.

this is a really nice piece, I love the composition and angle you've drawn this is, it puts a good focus on the two of them. This has a really tender moment to it and its more realistic that you've added blood because in Cristina's last memory, she's apparently wounded but you see no physical wounds (unless that's just my version of the game) but I know this was probably meant to be Eponine anyway. All in all, you fantastic job! well done

Right? It's like, oh, i'm dying. love me. Andddd.... there's nothing.

But yeah, it was supposed to parallel, had Cristina been an Eponine I might've cared about her character when she died.

yeah I can definitely see what you mean, I agree. I think Cristina's part looks a little rushed though I must say she had a pretty good voice actor for her part.

Eh, I liked the sound of her voice, beyond that- she wasn't much better than her character. But that's just my opinion.

I mainly say that because of the last scene. I loved Ezio's voice over there, and Cristina... just... killed it. Pun intended.

All ranting aside, however, this is a beautiful piece. The anguish on Ezio/Marius's face is so heart-wrenching that even I feel sorry for them, and the composition is very well done. I also like how you incorporated the French flag color scheme into their clothing as well. Nicely done!

It's the scene at the barricades, where they're all dressed in that garb, lol. And while I actually WASN'T happy with Ezio's face, I did love that the blood on Cristina actually looked like she was bleeding and that it was no joke.

The BG came out much better than I thought it would.

It all came out very nicely. Yeah, I love Roger Craig Smith's voice, and yeah, he did do a great job in all the scenes where Ezio talks... I just thought the "my love" bit was pushing it. I mean, think about it: Ezio sees Cristina MAYBE a grand total of 3 times in the 14(?) years between the time he leaves Florence to the Bonfire of the Vanities, and while I do realize that he could probably hold some affection for her, I wouldn't call it love. It just seemed a little... far-fetched, perhaps? I don't know... I mean, the way he says it is really sweet, and I did love it, but I just think that, you know, he was maybe overestimating his feelings just a little. That was about my only real beef with that scene.

That wasw a writers fault, not RCS though. lol, I absolutely agree, had he said it about someone else, I might've cared.

LMAO!! I'm sorry, I shouldn't be laughing. But I totally agree here! If they'd wanted Cristina to be anything worthwhile as a character, they should've developed her through Assassin's Creed II, not just tacked her on as an endnote in Brotherhood. At least the Assassin's Creed: Renaissance novel actually put most of the encounters in in context and didn't make them so melodramatic. Ezio sounded so fake during Cristina's death scene I actually CRINGED. And I don't usually do that unless it's REALLY bad voice-acting. As in, I cringed at Rosette Christopher's voice in Chrono Crusade. And I actually LIKE Ezio's voice. (He has a REALLY sexy voice.) Most of the time.

Hence, the reason why I'm laughing at this. Mi dispiace, amica mia.

He does have an awesome voice, Roger Craig Smith did a wonderful job with that character. And I actually LOVE Ezio in the scene with Cristina, I just hate her so much I could give a BEEEEP. At least the way he says Rest In Peace I love.
