So, anyone who's been reading my fanfic Frost and Stories knows that I really like Pitch. I love his backstory and I love that he's a tragic villain. They're two different people and in all honesty Kozmotis is someone I can really feel for. Like imagine loosing every human you love and feeling like there's nothing for you in this world, but you have a job that could put the entire cosmos in jeopardy if you don't do it. That's an immense amount of pressure with no discernible reward. It takes an incredibly selfless person to wither away in agony surrounded by nothing but literal pure fear. No human beings. And you know full well that even if you left you'd be even more alone because everyone you've ever loved was dead. Yeah that's the shit that went through his mind, and the fearlings prayed on it like moths to a flame. They found his happiest memory and twisted it into something that would hurt him the deepest. And he fell for it because he's human.

Now fearligs are running amok inside his body like a puppet master with a marionette. He has no control over what they're doing and they see no repercussions because the world sees Kozmotis' face. But, then think that this new being has been wreaking havoc for centuries and now sees that it was all for naught. Sees that this life it fought and stole for - this freedom - is useless when trapped in a hole in the ground, alone. Dying of boredom - almost literally. And someone shows up that actually cares about them even with it's past and they realize and feel the full weight of it's actions.

This is the face here. Pitch knows what he's done and he regrets it. Kozmotis sees the light at the end of the tunnel. I had a lot of fun drawing this and also using my new markers XD
