This past month was my sister's birthday and so I decided to paint her a portrait as a gift! She had recently fallen in love with the 50s decade so I wanted to include a 50s aesthetic to the painting, hence the neon, checkered pattern, and hairstyle (she's got the hairstyle anyway).Is there a particular decade/era you feel drawn to?
