Finished! I had to rush this because I was suppose to do some important "errands". Hiccup didn't really appeal to me that much in the first movie. He was cute, but I was fangirling too much on Jack Frost around the time I got to watch it (I know, I'm a late fan). Nevertheless, I loved the story and the animation... BUT everything changed for the better when I saw the teaser for the sequel. Hiccup became... attractive. Oh well, y'all know what happens to a girl with a tablet and laptop when she's attracted to a certain character.Character (c) Dreamworks

I did find Hiccup like me because we happen to:
1. Be skinny boys.
2. Have red hair.
3. Have unique minds from other people.
4. Do silly things whenever the girl (Astrid in Hiccup's case and my mom in my case) says it's the wrong thing to do.

HTTYD2 is my favorite animated sequel, I just love how everything changed for the better.

I love how they designed Hiccup's older self and yet, they did not make him some perfect pretty boy, but kept the Hiccup we fell in love with in the first place.

It's funny that you say that, the animators actually wanted to make him more "good looking" and intended to base him off of the likes of Jake Gyllenhall and such, but they scrapped that idea and made him the "gangly" doofus beanpole we all know and love!

I'm glad they did. Besides, just because someone is gangly, doesn't mean they don't have any mucsle. Hiccup was always stronger than his appearances suggested.

Right? I remembered the first movie being cute and surprisingly deep, but didn't have super high expectations for the sequel. I went to it just for kicks, and ....guh. High as a kite for a week. Sure is pretty, isn't he. Very nice work, I also particularly like your drawing of Elsa.
