Crappy picture from my cellphone.I just got new art supplies & I've been freaking DYING to use them.
So I look at some MAC eyeshadow add and draw the model's eye that ended up going wrong & becoming a random eye. I've drawn anything realistic and I've never shaded (besides pixel) so I thought it'd be a good time to start.
So yeah....
For my first eye, I am a bit proud of it. Even though I can see a TON of flaws.
But I am happy with it. For now. Haha.
I'm sure you art geniuses can tell I know NOTHING about the different types of pencils because I just used a HB pencil for it all. So erm... heh hehheh. >.>
But all that aside, tell me what you think.

I never quite understood how people use an array of eight million different pencils... I usually stick with 2H, 2B and 6B... The H comes in handy when you do details with hair or don't want stray dark marks on the face... 6B darkens background. Otherwise 2B or HB do just fine.
This is a really good start... You should consider working from still life.
