So I've finally finished portrait which I started drawing some time ago. Wojtek laughed he looked like a 10-year-old kid in the previous version so I decided to add him several years here.Related content

this is a beautiful drawing and looks very much like the lovely photo i have seen. its a very moving picture as he looks sad in it and is brave enough to show his pain by being a peice of art, if you get what i mean. you have drawn the eyes beautifully, i always struggle to draw eye lashes and end up with a picture looking like the person went a bit crazy with the mascara!

he's a very young man but with a great tallent and imagination... and if you remember what his motto is you'll know it's sometimes not a bravery and appearances are deceptive... but i think he IS brave enough to show his feelings...

i've known wojtek for more or less 4 months and i love chatting with him in the evenings... i treat him more like a son than a man to be honest... and he calls me 'mommy' for fun

you might want to make your shading more gradual. also try working on hands because they seem out of proportion.

Thanks. I'm trying to learn. And, to be honest, every next picture is a bit better than the previous one. The results are still not satisfactory but the progress is clearly visible for me.
I've deleted the picture of Tarja Turunen which I drew after many years of not drawing at all. Her hair was a real diaster! Now, it's not so bad.

There were tears in the original photo but I'm not skillful enough to draw everything I'd like to so it turn out as you can see.

The name Aldebarán is of a big red star. A put this name a my lilith because I love this star. I love too a Betelgeuse, other red star. You are the unique to think in that.

I see to you have the tic of draw to Wojtek. No problem, I too. ^_^! This draw have much exprecion. Is veryyyy similar to of photo. I see to is your second draw of this type. Is good practic. I like the eyes. Well, the eyes of Wojtek are beautiull. For me. he is Aldebarán.

As for me, Aldebaran (Alpha Tauri) is the brightest star of the constellation Taurus, it's a red giant [link] though I know the name originates in mythology. Sorry, I'm astronomy addicted
