Description
This is a short animation based on the video that goes along with the song Crime and Punishment (Miku Hatsune the VOCALOID). I'd recommend watching the original (for the subtitles and just to understand the reference).I had needed a little break from sketching out pages and then...ta-dah?
Pretty much this sprouted from the whole conflict of Lan/Netto's twin brother Hub/Saito. He died at a young age of a heart disease, and the only way he can be saved is being transformed into a program. But, that's not really being "alive" is it? Even in the very last game, where they invented "Copybots" and net-navis can be transferred into the real world, they only last for a few minutes before needing to be recharged. Poor guy just can't be truly reunited with his brother. But, as I hinted at the ending, even if he can't really be "alive" and share his brother's pain, he can still be there for him as a friend.
Gah! I know it's a lot more depressing that the series actually IS, but it was still interesting to make it. ><;

This is incredible! Normally I'm not much of a Battle Network fan, but this was really touching and focused so much on Lan's relationship with Megaman. It's really bittersweet, and this told me the whole story without saying a word. Really well done.
