Wow, this is really awesome. 
I like the "crazy" feeling your drawings always have, it comes in handy in this little story.
So far, the only things I would like to change are his blanket and the "creature's" eyes. Perhaps you should draw the blanket's stripes by hand instead? It looks a little "plastic" to me, if you understand how I mean? And it kind of hurts my eye to look at, since the colors are so strong when it comes to contrast.
And, about the creature's eyes - this is simply my own opinion and not something you have to pay THAT much attention to, but I'd love to see his eyes without pupils. Or perhaps so small they're barely visible.
That's all I could think of so far. ^^ Please, keep us posted, I'd love to see the rest of this thing!

About blanket0 I think in print it will look better and won't be coming ot this much. I wanted tou use strong patterns and rasters, so I kinda went after '
