I am really into Vocaloid atm, especially the twins! Len/Rin <333Such a long time since I drew such big eyes lol
These 2 are soooo cute, I want to draw more of them >
Once again I am trying out a new style of colouring, sorry for the rushed background ...

I use references for the character's clothes (I have a really bad memory) but I dont usually use references for poses.

yeah i have some q's.....lyk how long does it take to complete one image..... Lyk.....how long did it take for this one.....n which software did u use to paint this one.... Ur details are so perfect and precise.....how long have u been painting for???

No problem, one of the best things about DA is sharing what we know ^^
This picture took me about 30mins to do an initial sketch, then lining takes around another half hour. Colouring ... on and off I would say I spent about 5 to 6 hours in total. I have a really short attention span and can only work on for about 1 hour each day lol.
I used Paint tool SAI for sketch, lines, colouring. I then switched to photoshop CS5 for the textures and effects.
I have been drawing since I was about 8 but only used paper and pencil! I then started digital painting about 1 year ago.
For small details, just zoom up close and use a small brush.
As many people will say, practice is what makes a person progress, so just keep trying and experimenting!
