Man, I wish you'd been behind the 'new' elf designs for Dragon Age (maybe they have improved in Dragon Age 3, I don't know) but their goal was to improve the design so they didn't look like short humans with pointed ears, but they wound up looking like goats exposed to radiation.
This is a great example of a what an elf SHOULD look like, not entirely human, but still pleasant to the eyes. Fantastic work and lighting here.

I have this guy on my wall. He spooks out our visitors - which is good, because he is a very, very, very apostate elf. Very bad. With all the demon summoning and blood magic.
